About the role
The Website Developer Intern position offers a hands‑on learning experience in the IT service industry. Based in Makati, the role is ideal for students eager to deepen their coding skills, especially with WordPress.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in optimizing website performance, improving load times and responsiveness.
- Support the team in developing and maintaining WordPress‑based sites.
- Implement HTML, CSS, and JavaScript changes for design and functionality enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front‑end and back‑end issues.
- Optimize WordPress themes and plugins for performance and security.
- Help create responsive websites that work across all devices.
- Collaborate with developers to meet SEO, performance, and accessibility standards.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in web development and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices (a plus).
