Virtual Construction Operations Manager

About the role

The Virtual Construction Operations Manager leads design, BIM, and digital construction initiatives across multiple projects. Working fully remote, the role collaborates closely with the director and project manager to ensure efficient project planning, coordination, and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and enforce company‑wide BIM and digital construction strategies, standards and best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement and evaluate emerging construction technologies.
• Oversee construction processes from pre‑construction through project completion across several projects.
• Manage BIM Execution Plans and ensure compliance with client, contractual and project requirements.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary model coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables and performance metrics.
• Maintain model quality, data integrity and governance standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop construction personnel, providing technical leadership and training.
• Serve as primary client contact for deliverables and ensure expectations are met.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Operations Manager in construction or related fields.
• Intermediate level experience with remote team management.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑project environments and drive innovation.
