Virtual Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Virtual Assistant to support our client management and administrative functions for Befree’s financial services operations. The role is based on‑site in Cebu and involves handling client requirements, documentation, and compliance tasks for Australian tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client requirements for accounts and tax, prepare proposals and manage related documents.
• Draft and lodge activity statements and tax returns following Australian procedures.
• Track annual renewals, new company formations, and manage debtor invoicing and follow‑ups.
• Coordinate with practice end‑clients to obtain missing data, signatures and resolve queries before filing.
• Maintain workflow and CRM records, monitor compliance due dates via the practice’s tax portal.
• Research and develop tools and procedures to improve practice operations.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities, including calendar management and task prioritisation.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English with professional correspondence etiquette.
• Customer‑service mindset and ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently on‑site in Cebu, manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience as a Virtual Assistant or administrative support role is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in business, administration or related field preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
