Veterinario/a Generalista – Full-time – Almería

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Generalist Veterinarian to join our modern small-animal clinic in Roquetas de Mar, Almería. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for dogs, cats and small mammals, working alongside a close-knit team of veterinary technicians and a senior veterinarian.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct full clinical consultations: anamnesis, physical examination, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory analyses, radiographs and ultrasonography.
• Collect, label and dispatch biological samples to external laboratories.
• Record clinical data and manage billing using the clinic’s practice-management software.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options and after-care instructions clearly to pet owners.
• Maintain cleanliness, order and stock levels in consultation rooms and storage areas.
• Prepare medical reports, certificates and health documents such as identification cards and passports.
• Handle telephone inquiries and provide post-consultation support to owners.

Required profile

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Experience in a small-animal practice is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.
• Organisational ability and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Diagnostic imaging (radiography and ultrasonography).
• Laboratory sample handling and processing.
• Use of veterinary practice-management software for records and billing.
