Vessel Coordination Lead - Travel Desk

About the role

The Vessel Coordination Lead – Travel Desk is responsible for designing, implementing and operating a centralised crew‑change planning and execution function. Based in Manila, the role works across the global organisation to deliver cost‑effective, digitalised crew‑change services for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a best‑in‑class, digital crew‑change planning and cost‑controlling process.
• Own the transition of crew‑change activities into the Travel Desk Vessel Logistics Centre.
• Identify and implement digital solutions and best practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Build and lead a team of senior coordinators and coordinators, ensuring flawless service delivery.
• Define, communicate and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and continuously improve performance.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to standardise crew‑change processes for existing and future clients.
• Manage escalations (L2/L3) for critical customers and act as the in‑house subject‑matter expert.
• Engage with leadership across V. offices to drive adoption of the crew‑change strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading logistics or crew‑change teams in a maritime environment.
• Strong process‑ownership mindset with a focus on digital transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Ability to define, implement and monitor service level agreements.
• Experience handling escalations and delivering solutions for critical customers.
