Utilities and Equipment Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Utilities and Equipment Engineer to lead and improve our manufacturing engineering and utilities operations. The role ensures world‑class performance, safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and continuously improve plant engineering and utility systems such as power, compressed air, chilled water, refrigeration, water treatment and wastewater treatment.
• Drive Autonomous and Preventive Maintenance (CMMS) programs to boost equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Oversee refrigeration and HVAC system performance, identifying upgrade opportunities.
• Guarantee uninterrupted, compliant operation of all utilities to support manufacturing.
• Plan, execute and close CapEx and engineering projects from feasibility to completion.
• Monitor engineering, maintenance and utility costs while leading productivity and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Develop engineering team capabilities through coaching, succession planning and best‑practice implementation.
• Champion Health, Safety, Environment, product quality and regulatory compliance across engineering activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in manufacturing engineering, maintenance management and production process equipment.
• Proven leadership experience with strong people‑management and project‑execution skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and engineering systems analysis.
• Knowledge of applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements and compliance practices.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
