About the role
This position focuses on quality assurance of US tax datasets prepared by CPAs. The analyst will validate data completeness, tax calculations, and ensure compliance with client and IRS standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform QA checks on tax datasets prepared by CPAs.
- Validate data completeness and presence of supporting documents.
- Reconcile tax calculations and ensure consistency across forms (e.g., 1040, W-2, 1099).
- Confirm datasets meet client and IRS compliance requirements.
- Format and finalize datasets for delivery.
Required profile
- Accounting or commerce background (mandatory).
- Familiarity with US taxation concepts such as Forms 1040, W-2, 1099 (preferred).
- CPA internship experience or exposure to tax return preparation is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail for QA and validation tasks.
Required skills
- Basic understanding of tax calculations and reconciliation.
