Typescript/GDS Application Developer

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking an experienced Typescript/GDS Application Developer to design, develop, and support Sabre scripting and Sabre Red applications used by Travel Consultants. You will work closely with internal teams to modernize legacy tools and ensure smooth PNR processing.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update Sabre scripts and Sabre Red apps, converting legacy Scribe code to modern TypeScript applications.
• Design API integrations to enhance app functionality and streamline reservation workflows.
• Provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshoot issues, and respond to internal support tickets.
• Test, document, and maintain high‑quality application performance.
• Monitor potential technical roadblocks and advise management.

Required profile

• 5+ years in the travel industry, preferably in agency or corporate travel management.
• 2+ years developing GDS scripts or applications (Sabre Scribe/Sabre Red).
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with Sabre GDS.
• Strong English communication and ability to work partially during US Central business hours.
