Travel Counselor III

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking a Travel Counselor III to join its remote‑first corporate travel team. You will provide high‑quality service to business clients, helping them navigate complex itineraries while upholding the company’s values of People, Passion, and Progress.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers, both individuals and groups.
• Research travel options, anticipate needs, and promote additional services.
• Book domestic and international air, road, rail, and accommodation travel using multiple GDS platforms.
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, provider rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle special requests via telephone and deliver a positive service experience.
• Collaborate with teammates to coach, mentor, and improve service levels.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the travel industry, with a focus on corporate travel.
• Native expertise in at least one Global Distribution System, preferably Amadeus.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity when handling traveler information.
• Ability to resolve customer issues independently and work flexible shifts, including mornings and weekends.
