Travel Consultant

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking a Travel Consultant to join its remote team and deliver outstanding service to corporate business clients. You will work in a collaborative, inclusive environment that values people, passion, and progress.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for individual and group corporate customers.
• Research travel options, anticipate needs, and promote additional services.
• Book domestic and international travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Utilize Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus) to process reservations.
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional telephone service and handle special customer requests.
• Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor, and improve service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry.
• Strong client‑service orientation with proactive problem‑solving.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and integrity when handling traveler information.
• Flexibility to work afternoon shifts (12‑8 pm) and weekends.

Required skills

• Native expertise in Sabre.
• Native expertise in Amadeus.
• Familiarity with Apollo and Galileo GDS platforms.
