About the role
We are looking for a remote Training Specialist to design, deliver and assess competency-based courses for our clients. The role ensures all training programs meet the Standards for Registered Training Organisations and supports learners throughout their journey.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate training sessions using adult‑learning principles and manage classroom schedules.
- Conduct assessments, including Recognition of Prior Learning, ensuring compliance with RTO standards.
- Assist in developing Training and Assessment Strategies and related learning materials.
- Serve as first point of contact for student enquiries, complaints and appeals.
- Maintain accurate training records, paperwork and confidentiality.
- Participate in validation meetings, collect feedback and adhere to WHS policies.
- Travel to regional centres as needed and engage in continuous professional development.
Required profile
- Relevant TAE qualification or skill set at the level being delivered.
- Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (TAE50122/50116/50111) or equivalent.
- Current vocational competencies and at least two years of training and assessing experience, preferably in an RTO.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian VET system, AQF and RTO standards.
