Technical Services Manager – Solar Site Construction

About the role

The Technical Services Manager will lead the design, construction, QA/QC, HSSE compliance and commissioning of the Lasso solar project. Working closely with internal teams and external EPC contractors, the role ensures the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design reviews, construction monitoring, equipment procurement and delivery with EPC contractors.
• Implement and monitor HSSE performance, conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks and enforce PPE usage.
• Supervise site quality, issue non‑compliance reports and ensure adherence to the Project’s ITP and quality policies.
• Lead progress review meetings, develop critical‑path catch‑up plans and prepare regular construction, quality and HSSE reports.
• Manage regulatory permitting, liaise with LGUs, utilities and other agencies for technical compliance.
• Review and approve commissioning and testing procedures, oversee punch‑list preparation and performance guarantee tests.
• Ensure timely delivery of as‑built drawings, operating manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and support early‑work activities such as geotechnical surveys.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary construction projects, preferably in renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC, HSSE standards and change‑control processes.
