Technical Lead – Rail & Metro

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to drive complex rail and metro projects in the Philippines. The role demands a high degree of independence, strategic oversight, and the ability to deliver cost‑effective solutions while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice and lead complex tasks across multiple rail and metro projects.
• Monitor and manage project scope, risk, budget and schedule for varied‑size initiatives.
• Apply safety‑in‑design practices and ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals and client presentations.
• Build technical capability of team members through coaching and supervision.
• Maintain strong client relationships and engage key stakeholders to exceed expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in rail/metro engineering.
• Well‑established industry reputation and active participation in professional associations.
• Proven project management record delivering projects on time, within budget and to client specifications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands and continuously learn new knowledge.
