Team Lead – Testing Center of Excellence

About the role

The Central Compliance team at MBPS is seeking a Team Lead for the Testing Center of Excellence (CoE). In this senior position you will guide compliance testing, monitoring and quality‑assurance activities, ensuring that regulatory and internal standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual compliance testing plan, including test‑plan approval, announcement notices and kickoff meetings.
• Execute and oversee testing, monitoring and QA across assigned business areas following the Global Compliance Testing Methodology.
• Identify regulatory and control gaps, analyse root causes and recommend practical improvements.
• Document control design and operating effectiveness in Archer and maintain high‑quality workpapers.
• Prepare clear testing reports for management and stakeholders.
• Track issues and remediation actions in Archer, coordinating with business units to ensure timely closure.
• Research regulatory updates and engage with stakeholders to align testing activities with new requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading compliance testing or similar assurance functions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess control effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple testing engagements and meet strict timelines.

Required skills

• Archer (GRC platform) – experience documenting controls and tracking remediation.
