Team Lead – Gym Operations

About the role

The Team Lead assists the Club Manager in overseeing daily gym operations, ensuring a positive experience for members and supporting staff development. This full‑time, non‑exempt position combines front‑desk duties with leadership responsibilities in a fast‑growing fitness environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support training and development of gym staff.
• Oversee member service, ensuring excellent customer interactions.
• Handle front‑desk tasks: answer calls, manage member check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, and update accounts.
• Provide gym tours to prospective members and address service inquiries.
• Assist the Club Manager with team management and act as backup when needed.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and uphold the club’s positive image.
• Help keep the facility clean and well‑presented.
• Support marketing initiatives and ensure staff are informed about promotions.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and track related reports.
