Janitor

About the role

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across office spaces and related areas. Working closely with the Administrative Services team, the role ensures a pleasant environment for employees and visitors while delivering consistent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Clean designated building areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents.
• Sanitize restrooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Restock supplies in break rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Keep janitor closets organized, clean, and safe.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in good working condition.
• Perform and document routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks.
• Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management.
• Carry out additional routine maintenance duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or Vocational Certificate.
• At least six months of related janitorial or cleaning experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective time‑management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to work long hours, including public holidays when required.
