Taxation, Registry and Vault Custody Officer

About the role

The Taxation, Registry and Vault Custody Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and the secure handling of client documentation for TSG. This role acts as the primary liaison with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and supports internal and external audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly tax remittance returns, including VAT, income taxes withheld, and final tax reports.
• File and manage BIR forms related to TSG Trust Retirement Accounts, including opening and closing TINs.
• Represent TSG in BIR transactions, inquiries, and meetings.
• Coordinate with internal, external, and BSP auditors to provide required documentation and explanations.
• Safeguard client folders, accountable forms, collaterals, and other sensitive documents in the vault.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and BIR filing procedures.
• Experience in preparing and submitting regulatory tax reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage confidential documents.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with regulators and auditors.
