Tax Team Lead

About the role

Atlas Copco Philippines Inc. is looking for a proactive Tax Team Lead to ensure full compliance with Philippine tax laws. You will oversee daily tax compliance activities, manage VAT claims and tax audits, and support statutory reporting while providing expert tax guidance to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with external consultants to prepare, review, and file all tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.).
• Maintain and reconcile tax‑related accounts and schedules, ensuring audit readiness.
• Oversee VAT refund applications and manage tax audits, assessments, and examinations.
• Support tax initiatives such as e‑invoicing, transfer‑pricing documentation, and tax health‑check projects.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of contracts and operational activities.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate updates to the Finance team.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Credit & Collection, and Shared Services to ensure consistent tax compliance.
• Lead and mentor the Treasury Officer on cash handling and treasury controls.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or finance, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax.
• Proven experience coordinating tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
