Tax Officer

About the role

The Tax Officer will lead the tax function within the bank, ensuring accurate filing, remittance, and compliance with Philippine tax regulations. This role involves supervising a team and coordinating tax-related updates across business units.

Key responsibilities

  • Review tax remittance returns to guarantee accurate and timely filing.
  • Issue BIR Form 2307 (CWT) to service providers and suppliers promptly.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and communicate updates to relevant business units.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR reportorial requirements.
  • Prepare and submit schedules and analyses for internal and external audits.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Minimum four years of banking experience, including at least two years in taxation.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Makati.
