Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead the company’s tax function across the Philippines and its affiliates, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic tax planning. This senior role reports directly to leadership and works closely with project teams and external tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax management procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Design and execute a digitalization plan for tax processes.
• Formulate and monitor a tax risk management plan, conducting regular self‑inspections.
• Lead tax planning initiatives, pursue incentives, and manage withholding tax (CWT) refunds.
• Oversee daily tax tasks, including accurate accruals, timely payments, and invoice compliance.
• Provide tax‑related consultation to project teams and advise on contract terms.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and intermediary agencies, handling internal and external inspections.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
• 8‑10+ years of tax management experience in large enterprises; overseas tax experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and customs regulations for imports and exports.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in English (listening, speaking, writing); Chinese language skills are advantageous.
