Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead the company’s tax function, ensuring compliance with Philippine tax regulations while providing strategic tax advice to senior management. This role combines oversight of tax reporting, risk assessment, and team development to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and timely filing of all tax returns and related reports.
• Ensure full compliance with Philippine tax laws, regulations, and government requirements.
• Conduct tax reviews and assessments to identify risks, issues, and tax‑saving opportunities.
• Provide tax advice and support to management on business transactions and operational decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the internal tax team.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation, preferably within a large organization or professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing teams and handling tax audits, planning, and reporting.
