Tax Consultant Manager

About the role

As a Tax Consultant Manager you will join a newly created pioneer team that supports one of Australia’s leading Big Four accounting firms. You will lead strategic tax advisory engagements, influence business outcomes and mentor junior talent while building a global career.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Australian tax advisory engagements, including large‑scale client projects.
• Provide strategic tax advice to SMEs, family businesses, trusts, partnerships and listed entities.
• Ensure Australian tax compliance and identify tax planning and efficiency opportunities.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to support advisory recommendations.
• Lead client presentations, stakeholder meetings and advisory discussions.
• Mentor junior team members in technical development and professional growth.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years of experience in tax consulting, advisory or accounting firms.
• Background in Australian public‑practice accounting.
• Experience handling SME to mid‑market clients with turnover of AUD 5 M‑100 M+.
