Tax Compliance Specialist

About the role

The company, an exclusive distributor of several automotive brands in the Philippines, is looking for a Tax Compliance Specialist to manage its tax obligations and support its finance team. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to work in a dynamic automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle overall tax compliance and identify/mitigate tax‑related risks.
• Deliver a full range of tax services in line with laws and regulations within required time‑frames.
• Build relationships with internal clients and provide tax consultancy.
• Develop innovative tax planning strategies and review complex income tax returns.
• Manage tax provision, tax compliance processes, and coordinate tax audits.
• Maintain tax balances on the general ledger and prepare regular tax documentation.
• Respond to information and data requests related to tax matters.
• Collaborate with other employees and perform tasks assigned by the Vice President for Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Financial Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in tax compliance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax rules and regulations.
• Computer literate, especially with Peach Tree Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze information and accurately post figures in the Peach Tree system.
• Self‑motivated with a sense of urgency to take action.
