Tax Compliance Officer

About the role

The Tax Compliance Officer will support the finance team in ensuring the company meets all statutory tax obligations and regulatory requirements. Based at the head office in Binondo, Manila, the role involves preparing filings, monitoring compliance, and assisting with audits.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file government requirements (BIR, SEC, LGU) including reconciliations, year‑end inventory, and book of accounts.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
• Stay updated on new tax rulings and issuances and lead their implementation within the business.
• Manage BIR and LGU tax audits and coordinate external auditors for annual financial statement audits.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of yearly Income Tax Returns and financial statements.
• Handle the accreditation process for the Computerized Accounting System (CAS).

Required profile

• College graduate with a BS in Accountancy.
• Preferably experienced in handling BIR and LGU tax compliance.
• Willing to work on‑site at the head office in Binondo, Manila.
