Tax Associate

About the role

San Miguel Integrated Logistics Services, Inc. is seeking a Tax Associate to ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations and support the company’s financial operations. The role involves preparing tax returns, managing audits, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with national and local tax regulations in the Philippines.
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns on time, and produce detailed reports on tax liabilities and payments.
• Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
• Handle tax audits, analyze financial data for tax‑saving opportunities, and manage relationships with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
• Liaise with local government units (LGU) to secure necessary business permits.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in taxation.
• Experience handling BIR Letters of Authority (LOA) and closing BIR assessments.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Ugong, Pasig City.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
