Tax Analyst – Remote VAT & Indirect Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Analyst to join the global tax function of a leading luxury resale platform. The role is fully remote (Philippines time) and focuses on indirect tax compliance, governance, and business partnering across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support VAT compliance in EU, UK, Netherlands and other jurisdictions, including registrations, filings and ongoing reporting.
• Review VAT treatment of B2B, B2C, marketplace, cross‑border sales, imports/exports, intra‑EU stock movements and dropshipping models.
• Coordinate with external advisors on VAT matters and assist with tax authority audits and information requests.
• Maintain the tax governance tracker and compliance calendar, monitoring actions, risks and deadlines.
• Prepare status updates, meeting materials and management reports for tax governance.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Logistics, Legal, Treasury and Commercial teams to assess tax implications of business initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in indirect tax, VAT compliance and cross‑border transaction support.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EU VAT, OSS/IOSS, UK VAT, Netherlands VAT and other international VAT regimes.
• Familiarity with tax governance trackers, compliance calendars and audit support processes.
