Talent Acquisition and Development Lead

About the role

The Talent Acquisition & Development Lead drives the end‑to‑end recruitment process and oversees employee development programmes, ensuring the organisation attracts, hires and retains high‑quality talent. Reporting to senior HR leadership, this role manages the Recruitment Officer and partners with department heads to align hiring strategies with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the Recruitment Officer in job posting, initial screening, interview coordination, applicant documentation and final interviews for supervisory and key roles.
• Collaborate with department heads to define hiring profiles, competencies and talent pipelines.
• Improve sourcing strategies, recruitment channels and maintain structured talent pipelines.
• Monitor, analyse and report recruitment KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance, hiring success and probation pass rates.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and data‑privacy standards.
• Develop and standardise hiring workflows, interview guides and onboarding processes.
• Support manpower planning discussions with the HR Director and recommend enhancements to recruitment systems and tracking tools.
• Coordinate onboarding programmes, conduct training‑needs analyses and organise internal training sessions.
• Track employee training records and support performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Coach, mentor and conduct performance check‑ins for the Recruitment Officer, ensuring workload efficiency and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Behavioral Science.
• 4–6 years of HR experience, including 2–3 years of dedicated recruitment experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑role hiring from entry‑level to supervisory positions.
