Systems Applications Engineer - Digital Healthcare

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Systems Applications Engineer for its Digital Healthcare team in Cavite, Philippines. You will join a team of applications engineers working at the intersection of hardware, software and system design, helping develop technologies that improve diagnostic imaging systems worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop proof-of-concept demonstrations, system prototypes, evaluation platforms and software tools (including GUIs) so customers can evaluate and adopt healthcare solutions.
• Work with Marketing, Sales, Field Applications Engineers, product development teams and customers to provide technical support and drive system-level implementations.
• Create technical content such as application notes, reference designs, demonstrations and articles.
• Explore and develop healthcare solutions for complex customer challenges and emerging market needs.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions, technology evaluations and product roadmap development.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in electronics engineering, system architecture and product development.
• Experience in system-level hardware and software design, integration and troubleshooting.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
• For experienced candidates: translating customer and system requirements into technical solutions, strong communication skills, and experience with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Customer-facing experience and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Preferred: software debugging and troubleshooting.
• Embedded software development in C/C++.
• Python development and automated test frameworks.
• Familiarity with embedded processors and microcontroller architectures (ARM-based systems preferred).
• FPGA design, integration or reference design experience.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts and applications.
• Experience developing evaluation platforms, prototypes or system demonstrations.

The role requires travel about 10% of the time and is a day shift. Export licensing review may apply; the position is open to non-US citizens and permanent residents.
