Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer acts as the primary quality liaison between First Sumiden Circuits and its suppliers. You will ensure that all raw materials and components meet stringent quality standards before they are used in the production of flexible printed circuits and assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the key Quality Representative for supplier interactions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and process engineers to develop and execute raw‑material inspection procedures.
• Validate that only parts meeting prescribed quality are released for manufacturing.
• Control supplier‑related activities to guarantee raw materials meet quality standards.
• Direct, oversee, and monitor supplier performance to satisfy both company and customer requirements.
• Ensure Supplier Quality Assurance services and final materials exceed expectations.

Required profile

• Graduate of any engineering discipline.
• Experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Problem‑solving tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, OCAP.
• Quality tools: 7QC Tools, Quality Controls, Automotive Core Tools.
