SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant

About the role

EY's Talent IT Service Delivery team delivers end-to-end programs and projects to develop and maintain global applications and systems in the Talent IT landscape using the SAP technology stack. As SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant, you will coordinate and manage a team of consultants across SuccessFactors modules and own the delivery of projects end-to-end, working with the Project Manager, QA resources and the Support Team. The position reports to the Application Engineer Team Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Employee Central projects, from discovery through deployment and support.
• Manage and mentor a team of consultants, assigning tasks and guiding them through project lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and resource allocations so deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand business requirements, HR processes and reporting needs.
• Analyze and document client requirements, turning them into system specifications and design documents.
• Advise clients on best practices, change management and system adoption approaches.
• Design and configure Employee Central modules, including organizational management, employee data, workflows, business rules and security settings.
• Manage, negotiate and resolve project risks and complex issues, preventing escalations where possible.
• Challenge the Service Delivery team to account and foster an open, accountable and collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Ability to work within a matrix organization and balance service-line needs against firm goals.
• Flexibility to handle multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
• Experience initiating, building and maintaining productive customer relationships.
• Business analysis experience and basic understanding of data modelling.

Required skills

• In-depth technical expertise in SAP Employee Central and ONB 2.0, covering configuration, design and data replication.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
• Experience implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) in highly unionized environments.
• Experience integrating Employee Central with SF ECP, including data management and replication.
