Cloud Infrastructure Architect

About the role

EY's Digital & Emerging Technologies team is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Architect in Taguig. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions, working with stakeholders to turn requirements into clear documentation that guides solution design, development and delivery. The firm describes itself as the only professional services organization with a separate business dedicated exclusively to the financial services marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• Translate needs into specifications, functional documentation and architecture designs.
• Develop and run code for technology infrastructure using current tools and platforms.
• Build hyper-scale cloud platforms from scratch, following best-practice design principles.
• Create test and validation frameworks to check solutions against business requirements.
• Analyze risks and impacts of proposed solutions and support project planning.
• Work with architects, developers and business leads, and suggest continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Proven business analysis experience in technical environments such as system integration, infrastructure, cloud platforms or application development.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in enterprise transformation and system migration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on cloud infrastructure deployment and platform setup, including Terraform.
• Understanding of IT network topologies and hyperscaler platforms.
• Design of cloud services such as networking, private endpoints, function apps, storage (blob), messaging (service bus / event grid) and data stores (Cosmos, SQL, PostgreSQL).
• On-premise platforms (Active Directory, hypervisors, Azure and AWS PaaS and SaaS).
• Infrastructure migration and containerisation.
• Clear documentation of requirements, architecture diagrams, functional specifications and process flows.
