Solutions Architect

About the role

The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that align with business objectives. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities, ensuring that solutions are scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect complex software systems.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, IT policies, standards and industry best practices.
• Oversee solution development from inception to release and guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Develop comprehensive technical architectures for new products, features or systems.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms and frameworks.
• Plan and manage software development projects, collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features.
• Guide development teams, review and approve technical designs, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 4‑year IT‑related degree.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, preferably in financial or banking industries.
• Strong background in Agile software development and stakeholder management.
• Hands‑on experience leading small engineering teams and building application pipelines.
• Knowledge of core banking platforms such as ThoughtMachine or Oradian is a plus.
