Software QA Engineer (Mobile & Web)

About the role

We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to join ProSource’s Quality Assurance team. The role combines manual exploratory testing with test automation for both web applications and native iOS and Android mobile apps, and relies heavily on AI‑assisted tools to accelerate testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end quality for assigned features across web, iOS and Android platforms.
• Design and execute manual test plans, exploratory sessions and regression suites across browsers, OS versions and real devices.
• Build, maintain and extend automated test coverage using Playwright for web and Appium/WebdriverIO (or equivalent) for mobile.
• Run cross‑browser and cross‑device tests on cloud device farms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs and on local real‑device labs.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, Codex, Cursor) daily to generate test cases, author scripts, debug, document defects and share best practices.
• Partner with Product, Design and Engineering early to refine requirements and shift quality left.
• Investigate, isolate and document defects with reproduction steps, logs, network traces and device context.
• Validate APIs using Postman or similar REST clients and verify data integrity with SQL queries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of test plans, automation coverage and QA processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional QA experience covering both manual and automated testing.
• Hands‑on automation experience with Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium) using TypeScript or JavaScript, TypeScript preferred.
• Proven experience testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android, including real devices and emulators.
• Daily fluency with AI coding assistants (Claude, Codex, Cursor) to accelerate testing work.
