Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Software Engineer to join an e‑commerce team that powers high‑traffic global platforms. The position is full‑time and ideal for new graduates who want to build scalable backend services and work on real‑time user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Profile, debug and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑graduate or early‑career software engineer.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated interest in building high‑performance, cloud‑native applications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices or cloud‑native development.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
