Software Engineer – Data Extraction & Document Generation

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join the Output & Security team in Manila. You will focus on extracting financial data using the Avaloq Core Platform (ACP) and generating client‑facing documents such as advice and layout statements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages for data archiving, output management, and system integration.
• Implement data archiving strategies to meet retention and accessibility requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration, transformation, and integration.
• Create extraction pipelines with ACP to retrieve structured and unstructured data.
• Automate generation of advice, reports, and layout statements for client communications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, client service teams, and technical peers to define output requirements.
• Ensure accurate formatting, branding, localization, and data integrity of client communications.
• Optimize database performance through efficient queries, indexing, and scalable design.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to databases, ETL, ACP extraction, and output generation.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
