Software Engineer – API Developer (Pooling)

About the role

The Software Engineer – API Developer will research, develop, and integrate new products, services, and processes into existing systems, with a focus on analytics. Working from UnionBank Plaza in Pasig City, you will support business units by building and maintaining APIs and data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement initiatives backed by research and data.
• Research emerging technologies and propose integration strategies for existing or new systems.
• Design innovative data‑collection methods from unconventional sources.
• Provide technical support to business units through custom systems, applications, or scripts.
• Develop, maintain, and document APIs that enable campaign and contact‑policy processes.
• Streamline digital campaign communication for portfolio actions and usage campaigns.
• Monitor key performance drivers for campaigns and ensure continuous implementation of business‑critical campaigns.
