Software Developer (Japanese Language Required)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer who can communicate fluently in Japanese to join our growing team in Makati City. The role involves building, maintaining, and enhancing software applications while working closely with Japanese‑speaking stakeholders, clients, and offshore teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Japanese‑speaking product owners, clients, and offshore development teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Utilize version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies to ensure smooth delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient written and verbal Japanese (JLPT certification is a plus).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross‑functional teams.
