Social Media Manager – Personal Branding for LinkedIn

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Remote Social Media Manager to lead personal‑branding efforts on LinkedIn and Instagram for our founder. The role focuses on creating, optimizing, and publishing high‑impact content while supporting event outreach and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Write on‑brand copy and captions for Instagram and LinkedIn, reflecting the founder’s tone.
• Design graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for social posts and event assets.
• Edit raw footage into short‑form videos optimized for each platform.
• Repurpose long‑form content and founder communications into professional LinkedIn posts.
• Maintain and schedule the monthly content calendar across all platforms.
• Publish content, ensure formatting consistency, and coordinate with the founder on priorities.
• Identify speaking opportunities, manage outreach, and track applications.
• Create branded speaker decks and social assets for events.
• Monitor social channels, respond to comments, and foster community interaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in personal branding, especially on LinkedIn.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate directly with the founder.
• Flexible availability Monday‑Friday with overlap for meetings between 9 AM‑5 PM PST.
• Immediate start.
