Service Technician - Mechanical

About the role

Join Aggreko as a Service Technician – Mechanical in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel generators and related equipment to ensure reliable power supply for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and condition assessments on diesel generators, engines, fuel and cooling systems, and load banks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, conduct emergency breakdown repairs, and execute engine rebuilds, overhauls, and component replacements.
• Prepare equipment for deployment, support commissioning/decommissioning, and complete pre‑dispatch and return inspections.
• Follow QHSE procedures, including LOTO, PPE use, and safety meetings, and report hazards promptly.
• Manage tools and spare parts inventory, ensuring proper storage, calibration, and accountability.
• Provide technical support to customers, respond to breakdown calls, and coordinate with operations, logistics, and service teams.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Diesel Technology or related field; TESDA certification preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in diesel engine maintenance, power generation equipment, or industrial machinery.
• Experience with generator sets and rental or industrial service environments is an advantage.
