Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring smooth vault and ATM cash handling, tellering, and overall customer service. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policies while driving revenue through cross‑selling and service initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering functions.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, bank policies, and internal procedures.
• Execute service tasks aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenue from bank products.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks to prevent errors, reputational damage, and financial loss.
• Deliver fast, error‑free processing to achieve high client satisfaction and meet Business Center service standards.
• Manage productivity and administrative matters within set guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• Graduate with a four‑year degree in business or a service‑oriented field.
• Strong knowledge of bank policies and branch‑operation procedures.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle high‑stress situations.
• Motivated to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
