Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and delivering excellent customer service. This position is based at Laguna Technopark and focuses on vault, ATM, and tellering functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault and ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to BSP/AMLA regulations, internal policies, and other external regulatory rules.
• Execute service tasks aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenue through cross‑selling and other business initiatives.
• Manage risk by identifying and eliminating errors, lapses, or irregularities that could lead to reputational or financial loss.
• Maintain high service standards by providing fast, error‑free processing and excellent client satisfaction.
• Oversee productivity and administrative matters within set guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• At least a four‑year degree in business or a service‑industry‑related field.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle stress while meeting deadlines.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
