Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, focusing on vault and ATM cash management, tellering functions, and overall customer service excellence. The role ensures strict compliance with the bank's internal policies, BSP/AMLA regulations, and other external rules while contributing to business growth through cross‑selling and revenue‑generating initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring and vault operations.
• Ensure branch compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
• Execute service tasks aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenues from bank products.
• Manage risk by eliminating errors, lapses, or irregularities that could cause reputational or financial loss.
• Provide fast, error‑free processing to achieve Business Center service standards and total client satisfaction.
• Oversee productivity and administrative matters within set guidelines, policies, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• Graduate with a four‑year degree in business or a service‑industry‑oriented course.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and motivated under stressful conditions.
• Strong tolerance for stress and ability to meet deadlines.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of BSP/AMLA regulations and other external regulatory rules.
• Understanding of bank policies, procedures, and risk management practices.
