Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer ensures strict implementation and consistent compliance with bank policies, BSP/AMLA regulations, and other external rules. The role supports business objectives by delivering excellent customer service and driving initiatives that enhance total customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager in managing branch operations, focusing on vault/ATM cash levels, vault operations, and tellering functions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
• Analyze and execute service tasks aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenue from bank products, including cross‑selling and referrals.
• Manage risk areas to eliminate errors, lapses, or irregularities that could lead to reputational or financial loss.
• Maintain productivity and administrative standards within set guidelines, policies, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• At least a four‑year degree in business or a service‑industry‑oriented course.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and motivated under high‑stress conditions.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
