Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring smooth vault and ATM cash handling, tellering functions, and compliance with all regulatory and internal policies. This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving deposit growth, fee generation, and cross‑selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with BSP/AMLA regulations, bank policies, and internal procedures.
• Execute service initiatives aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenue from bank products.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, eliminating errors, lapses, or irregularities that could cause financial loss.
• Maintain high service standards through fast turnaround times and error‑free processing.
• Manage productivity and administrative tasks within established guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to meet performance expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Service Management, or a related field (minimum 4‑year program).
• Strong knowledge of bank policies and branch‑level procedures.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and perform under pressure.
• Motivated to meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality work.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
