Service Associate (Bank Teller)

About the role

The Service Associate (Bank Teller) provides accurate, timely over‑the‑counter services to customers at the Business Center in Cagayan de Oro City. The role supports the branch’s business objectives by delivering high‑quality customer service while complying with internal policies and BSP/AML regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other teller transactions with zero errors.
• Ensure compliance with Bank of the Philippines (BSP) and Anti‑Money Laundering Act (AMLA) requirements.
• Monitor and mitigate risk by applying bank policies and procedures consistently.
• Maintain service standards such as acceptable wait times and turnaround times.
• Assist in process‑improvement initiatives and the implementation of new banking systems.
• Provide courteous, empathetic service and address client inquiries effectively.
• Perform delegated administrative tasks in an organized manner.

Required profile

• Graduate of any four‑year degree program; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Ability to handle complex situations, make efficient decisions and manage time effectively.
• Strong controlling, monitoring and security‑awareness capabilities.
• Empathetic, engaging and highly compassionate with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Attention to detail, quality and accuracy in all work.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with standard banking software and computer applications.
