SEO/GEO & Content Analyst

About the role

The SEO/GEO & Content Analyst will support NCC Group’s organic search and content optimisation across traditional and AI‑enabled search. Working closely with the Senior Website Manager, Content Manager and wider Marketing and Development teams, the role uses search and website data to identify improvements, optimise content in the CMS and deliver clear reporting and recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day SEO, GEO and AEO analysis, identifying practical opportunities aligned with priorities.
• Conduct keyword, topic, search‑intent, audience‑question and competitor research.
• Perform routine website and content audits covering crawlability, indexability, internal linking, metadata, structured data and page experience.
• Edit, optimise, publish and maintain website content and metadata in the CMS according to governance standards.
• Provide search‑led recommendations to content teams for structure, readability, relevance and AI‑enabled discovery.
• Utilise AI‑assisted tools for research, analysis and optimisation with human review.
• Produce regular, clear reporting on organic search and AI visibility performance.
• Stay up‑to‑date with search trends, algorithm changes and emerging GEO and AEO practices.

Required skills

• Practical experience in SEO, content, website management or digital analytics.
• Hands‑on experience using a CMS to edit, optimise and publish web content.
• Working knowledge of on‑page and technical SEO, including website and content auditing.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into clear, practical recommendations.
• Web copywriting and editing skills with high accuracy.
• Experience with core SEO and analytics tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
• Understanding of GEO, AEO and AI‑enabled search.
