SEO & AEO Specialist – Finance & Insurance Niche

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) specialist to drive organic visibility for a portfolio of SaaS, regulated financial services, and personal‑brand properties. You will ensure our brands appear in traditional search, AI‑generated answers, voice, and conversational discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Technical SEO across Next.js and WordPress sites: crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking.
• Develop keyword strategy and content plans aligned with commercial intent and funnel stages.
• Scale on‑page optimisation for landing pages, tool pages, comparison pages, and programmatic content.
• Design link‑acquisition tactics focused on digital PR, data‑driven content, and strategic partnerships.
• Report on organic traffic impact on pipeline and revenue, not just impressions.
• Implement AEO best practices: schema markup, entity optimisation, knowledge‑graph presence.
• Monitor brand representation in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Bing Copilot.
• Build topical authority signals that influence AI model recommendations.
• Prototype and iterate content formats that succeed in both traditional and AI‑driven discovery.
• Create and edit pages directly in HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript/React without waiting for developers.
• Analyse data from GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, and custom dashboards to extract actionable insights.

Required profile

• 3+ years of SEO experience with proven commercial results.
• Understanding of AEO principles and how AI search changes optimisation.
• Comfortable reading and editing code, working with APIs, and implementing changes independently.
• Experience in regulated sectors (finance, insurance, legal) is a strong advantage.
