Senior Tax Manager

About the role

Atome Financial, a leading fintech in ASEAN, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead its tax function in the Philippines. Reporting to the Group Head of Tax in Singapore, you will ensure compliance, manage controversies, and provide strategic tax advice for the Advance Intelligence Group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate income tax, indirect taxes (GRT, VAT) and withholding tax compliance, ensuring timely filing and payment.
• Drive process and automation improvements to enhance tax compliance efficiency.
• Manage tax controversies, including audits, disputes and negotiations with the BIR.
• Provide tax advisory and implementation support for group transactions and projects in the Philippines.
• Monitor Philippine tax legislation and assess its impact on the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of tax experience with strong regional exposure.
• Experience in both Big‑4 advisory and in‑house tax roles preferred.
• Ability to deliver commercial tax advice in a fast‑paced banking/fintech environment.
• Self‑starter with strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
