Senior Procurement Buyer – Indirect Materials

About the role

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Senior Procurement Buyer to manage the sourcing of indirect materials—including spare parts, supplies and services—across all URC sites. The role focuses on ensuring timely availability of materials, cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Procure indirect materials by reviewing spend data, identifying opportunities and risks, and developing procurement strategies.
• Manage contracts and purchase orders, monitor capex PO execution and resolve issues.
• Negotiate with suppliers to generate savings through volume consolidation and process efficiencies.
• Lead continuous‑improvement and digital initiatives, including adoption of SAP and other P2P tools.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics and quality assurance teams to align procurement with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards and regulatory requirements, and report on P2P performance metrics.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain experience in manufacturing, FMCG or shared‑services environments.
• At least 3 years managing indirect categories such as spare parts, maintenance supplies, CAPEX, professional services and facilities purchases.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management and delivering procurement savings.
• Experience working with cross‑functional stakeholders across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Strong knowledge of Procure‑to‑Pay processes and procurement governance.
