Senior Operations Manager – Restaurant & F&B

About the role

The Senior Operations Manager leads daily operations, commercial performance and brand standards across a cluster of restaurant locations. Acting as the bridge between executive leadership and store managers, the role ensures profit targets are met, brand identity is protected and guest satisfaction stays high.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily operations of the assigned region or cluster, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards and service quality.
• Review unit‑level financial performance weekly, identify cost spikes, labor inefficiencies or waste patterns and implement tactical adjustments to maximize profitability.
• Coach, manage and evaluate Store Managers/Branch Leaders, conducting regular performance reviews and creating clear development paths.
• Conduct regular unannounced operational and sanitation audits to ensure compliance with local food safety laws, employment regulations and corporate policies.
• Support New Store Openings by collaborating with project launch teams to stabilize staffing, training and operational workflows before launch.
• Oversee guest experience, monitor customer‑feedback platforms and proactively address issues affecting food quality or service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of restaurant leadership experience, including at least 3 years managing multi‑unit or high‑volume casual‑dining clusters.
• Proven expertise in restaurant operational metrics such as prime cost, COGS, labor percentages and waste optimization.
• Strong track record of developing, training and retaining Store Managers and shift supervisors.
• Excellent crisis‑management and problem‑solving abilities, with capacity to adapt quickly across diverse store cultures.
• Effective interpersonal and reporting skills to translate corporate targets into actionable store‑level plans.
